WELCOME TO THE NELSON / MARLBOROUGH GROUP PAGE, a page dedicated to Top O' The South members of the Triumph Register of NZ.
Our membership is widely spread across Marlborough/ Nelson/ Tasman provinces. The number presently stands at 9 (with partners = 18). More would be nice, and we're always on the lookout for new faces. Highly sought after classics such as the TR3a, TR4, TR6 TR7 and a Swallow Doretti are variations of the marque driven by our Top O' The South enthusiasts.
We endeavour to stage a group outing every month or two which offers the opportunity to drive in company, to enjoy a picnic lunch, cafe refreshments, or sightseeing. We'd be delighted to have visitors from other parts of the country join us. If time does not permit, then a quick call to say "hi" as you make your way north, or south, would similarly be welcomed.

LUNCH AT SLIP INN, HAVELOCK. Sun 4th Feb
Some of the Canterbury group are spending Waitangi Weekend in Nelson. They've invited us to join them for lunch @ Slip Inn, Havelock on Sunday, Feb 4th. Avril and I will attend. This is a great opportunity to catch up with our southern members. Any Top O' The South folk interested in attending, please contact me for further details.
DRIVE YOUR TRIUMPH DAY" Sat 10th Feb.
We'll celebrate this day with an outing in Picton. A visit to Kaipupu Wildlife Sanctuary on the coal burning / steam powered launch "Duke Of Marlborough". Afterwards there'll be time for a cafe lunch (or afternoon tea) and a photoshoot of our Triumphs and crew.
$20 return adult fare on Duke Of Marlborough and a donation to enter the sanctuary. Launch detarture from Picton will either be 11.00 a.m. or 11.30 a.m. returning between 1.00 and 2.00 p.m.

HOSPICE VEHICLE DISPLAY, Waterlea Racecoarse, Blenheim, Sun 11th March.
This is the Classic Motoring Society annual fundraiser for Hospice Marlborough. There is an opportunity to put our Triumphs in the line-up. There is a $5 admission charge for participating vehicles and a reporting time of 9.30. I will advise details later.
